Swedish Massage

60min - $80

This technique promotes relaxation by releasing muscle tension. It aims to relax you, stimulate nerve endings and to increase blood flow and lymph drainage. Swedish massage is gentler than deep tissue massage. It includes:- kneading, long strokes, deep circular movements and passive joint movements. A traditional Swedish massage involves the whole body.

2

Deep Tissues Massage

60min - $80

The pressure of this massage is deeper and firmer than in Swedish massage. It can involve the whole body and can target particularly only one big/small problematic area. The aim is to reach the deep layers of muscle and fascia (the tissue, surrounding your muscles). This massage begins as a light traditional classic massage until the muscles are warmed up. Then you will be informed by the therapist that the deep work into your problem areas begins. The technique involves palms, fingertips, knuckles, forearms and elbows (with your permission) to enhance the pressure. Note, you will be asked in advance about the level of pressure you would like to experience during the session.

Hot Stones massage (my favourite :) )

60min - $95        90min - $130

It feels absolutely delicious! This therapy uses both Heat and Rocks in contact with the client's skin. The therapist places basalt River rocks onto your body. The rocks are heated before use and then with the help of the specialist the stones can apply deeper pressure to areas of concern without causing any discomfort. One stroke with a heated stone is the clinical equivalent of TEN regular massage strokes. The heat, used externally generates vast dilation of the blood vessels in an affected area. The activation of the Parasympathetic branch of the Autonomic Nervous System plays a vital part in this method. It's a classic remedial massage technique that involves compression (here the weight of the stones plus massage pressure, and then just the stones).

Sports Massage

60min - $85

This massage help people who exercise regularly and professional sportsman to increase flexibility, improve performance, reduce the chance of injury and the recovering time after a sports injury. The massage approach focuses on specific areas of the body that are in need of healing or relief. It involves gliding, compressing, stretching, vibrating, percussing, stripping.

5

Pregnancy massage (Prenatal Massage)

60min - $80

It is a gentle massage aiming to reduce stress, reduce swelling in the arms and legs and relieve muscle and joint pain in pregnant women. This massage is a wonderful way to prepare a woman for childbirth, and of helping her to feel more at home with her changing body. It not only combats tension and fatigue in pregnancy but also soothes and reassures women in labour and eases insomnia. It involves long strokes, kneading and tapping on acupressure points to stimulate the immune system.

REIKI

This is a Japanese form of energy healing technique that aims for relaxation, reduces stress and anxiety through gentle touch. The practitioner uses her hands to deliver energy to your body, improving the flow and balance of your energy to support healing. REIKI boosts mood and sleep and it can help people suffering from depression or anxiety. The client is fully clothed.
